07/29/06- Jim Papaccio reports:
The Luppino Charter consisting of Peter Luppino, Mike Disemone, Carmine Semioli, and Nel Semioli. Had Sweetie off the coast of New Jersey fishing at two sweet spots called Glory Hole and Chicken Canyon once the crew arrived they started Drifting for Shark. The water depth was 180 feet with a water temperature of 72 degrees. Captains Brian Perry and Steve Dallaportass indicated the crew had a great day, catching 3 Mako Sharks releasing one at around 100 LBS.

The Schneyer Charter Consisting of Tommy Schneyer, Dennis Appleby, Bill Schneyer, and Tony LaFerrara. Had Sweetie off the coast of New Jersey at a sweet spot called the Rattle Snake Drifting for Fluke. The water depth was 65 feet and with a water temperature of 72 degrees. Captains Kevin Gerrity and Steve Dallaportas indicated Tommy was the big winner today with a 5l LBS fish. The Fluke was steady all day, limiting out and releasing another 50 shorts.

The Schneyer Charter consisting of Jennifer Schneyer, Rick Vetrini, Greg LaFerrara, Bill Smith, Tom Schneyer, and Bill Schneyer. Had Sweetie off the coast of Sea Bright drifting for Fluke. The water depth was 68 feet and with a water temperature of 69 degrees. Captains Kevin Gerrity and Steve Dallaportas indicated that Jennifer Schneyer and her brother Tom where the big winners today. Tom landing the fist keeper and Jen landing the biggest keeper. There was a lot of action the entire day, 18 keepers and releasing another 100 shorts.

The Tomalavage Charter consisting of Pete Tomalavage, Joe Fratatera, Cj Lotano, and Laura Tomalavage. Had Sweetie off the coast of New Jersey Chumming at a location called Farms. The water depth was 151 feet with and with a water temperature of 68 degrees. Captain Jim Papaccio indicated the Tomalavage charter limited out early at about 0700 and was back at about 1:00PM. The entire trip was Bluefish madness.

The Sherry Charter consisting of Marc Sherry Caesar Gongora, Louis Acosta, Mauro Carrssi, and George Giannaros had Sweetie off the coast of New Jersey Bunker Chunking at a location called The Rocks. The water depth was 62 feet and with a water temperature of 68 degrees. Captains Kevin Gerrity and Steve Dallaportas indicated that nice Bass is still around. The Sherry party caught 40 live Bunker, then started Chunking with them and then the action started.

Dave Bowlby from Connecticut had Sweetie out fishing for Shark at Chicken Canyon and Glory Hole. The winds Blew 25mph steady south east making it a very uncomfortable day, to make it even worse the winds were up against the tide, but even though it was blowing hard the boat was not drifting. Captain Kevin Gerrity indicated there was not to much action. The sharks were not able to be found.

The Fisher Charter consisting of Jack Fisher, Lenny Fisher, Mike Fisher, Alex Stroker, Chris Herghelediu , and Joe Greenberg. Had Sweetie off the coast of New Jersey at a sweet spot called the Rattle Snake. The water depth was 65 feet and with a water temperature of 68 degrees. Captain Perry indicated that the Fluke fishing went good. The crew had a lot of action on the boat. Ending with 18 keepers and throwing back 65 shorts.

The Farinas Charter consisting of Louis Farinas, Jesus M. Acevedo, Amaljo Vargas, Jim finn, and Vega started the fishing day at Mud Hole. The crew’s fishing method was Chumming for Blues Fish. The water depth was 85 feet and a water temperature of 68 degrees. Captains Kevin Gerrity and Steve Dallaportas indicated that the day went great, ending with the Farinas crew limiting out and releasing another 50.

The Sherry Charter consisting Marc Sherry ,Mauro Casci, George Giannaros, Greg Matzel, and Jim Brooks. Had Sweetie of the off Sea Bright Chunking for Bass. Fishing in water temperatures of 63 degrees and water depths of 40 feet. Captains Matt Muszly and Steve Dallaportas indicated that bass fishing is still going very good. Jim Papaccio and his team consisting of Brian Perry, Fred Nerschl, Steve Dallaportas, and John Jarosz. Had Sweetie out 68 miles off the coast of South Shark River Drifting for shark. The water depth was 185 feet and with a water temperature of 68.5 degrees. Sweetie is competing in the Mako Mania and Mako Fever Tournaments. There were no contenders out today, but the team had a great time fishing for shark.

Jim Papaccio and his team consisting of Brian Perry, Steve Dallaportas, and Jim O'donnel. Had Sweetie off the coast of South Jersey Drifting for shark. The water depth was 185 feet and with a water temperature of 68.5 degrees. Sweetie is competing in the Mako Mania and Mako Fever Tournaments. The crew had a great day with a lot of action catching a Blue Shark then releasing it, and boated a huge Thresher Shark with the approximate weight of a 250 to 300 LBS. The Appleby Charter consisting of Dennis Appleby, Bill Shay, Bob Guabb, and Jeff Wernsing. Had Sweetie off the coast of Monmouth Beach Chunking for Bass. The trip was first scheduled for Fluke fishing but Captains Brian Perry and Steve Dallaoprtas reported some of the best Bass fishing in weeks. The water depth was 55 feet with water a temperature of 62 degrees. The charter had a great fishing day catching their limit and releasing another 15 to 20 fish. The largest fish tipping the scale at 38 LBS was caught by Dennis Appleby.

The Orner Charter consisting of John Bouckley, and Lance Orner. Had Sweetie off the coast of Sea Bright drifting for Fluke. The water depth was 12 to 35 feet with a water temperature of 66 degrees. Captains Kevin Gerrity and Steve Dallaportas indicated that there was a lot of good action, caught 40 Fluke but only 8 were keepers along with 12 Blue Fish.

06/18/06- Jim Papaccio reports:
Captains Brian Perry and Steve Dallaportas took the De Micco family consisting of Lou, Dave, Joel, Jim and Andy from Teaneck, NJ off the coast of North Asbury and Monouth Beach for some Fathers Day fishing. Captains Brian and Steve indicated that the Charter mostly caught Blue Fish that were shorts weighing from around 2 to 3 LBS. Fluke action was slow to start, but the day ended with 14 keepers and 35 to 40 throw backs.

The Jordano Charter consisting of Fred Churchill, Ernie Beach, Raj Kothari, and Brian Herchick. Had Sweetie off the coast of Monmouth Beach Trolling and drifting for stripers catching none, Captain Brian Perry decided to go fishing for Fluke. The water depth was 30 feet with a water temperature of 28 degrees. The charter reported catching between 120 – 130 Short Fluke with only 9 keepers and a few Sea Bass mixed in.

The John Langlone Charter consisting of Dan Langlone, Ray Zuhowski, Joss Golub, Shane Vaughn, and Luke Olexsak had Sweetie off the coast of Shrewsbury Rocks jigging and spooning for Bass and Blues. Fishing in water depth of 50 feet and with water temperature of 58 degrees. Captain Kevin Gerrity indicated that the charter had a good day trolling for Bass and Blues, catching two Bass. The biggest fish was about 18 LBS and the rest were 2-5 LBS Bluefish.

The Dennis Appleby Charter consisting of Thomas Schneyer, Anthony Laterrara, Dennis Appleby,
BillySchneyer, and James Charron. Had Sweetie of the coast off Long Branch drifting and trolling for bass and fluke. The water depth was 30 feet with water temperature of 64 degrees. Captain Brian Perry indicated a good fishing day, spooned out and trolled up 1 striper about 20 LBS. The charter caught and released over 100 short fluke only 10 of the fish were keepers. The charter reports the action was none stop.

The Leo Garrison Charter. Had Sweetie off the coast of Long Branch and Manasquan Jigging, trolling, and Spooning for Striped Bass and Blue. The water depth was 40 feet with water temperature of 58 degrees. Captains Fred Nirschl and Brian Perry indicated that the Charter had a very slow fishing day. Did not catch any Striped Bass, caught Blue fish but they were all released.

The Dolphin Construction Company Charter consisting of Don Rick, Bob Sinton, Russ Titus, Chip Marden and Vinnie Edwards. Had Sweetie off the coast of Long Branch/Belmar, Jigging and Trolling for Bass and Blue. The water depth was 40 feet with a water temperature of 57 degrees. Captain Brian Perry and Mate Steve Dallaportas indicated the charter had a nice day of fishing catching several Blues 3 – 8 Lbs and Bass 15 – 25 Lbs.

06/01/06- Jim Papaccio reports:
Sweetie was out this afternoon from 3-9 with the Clarence "Gus" Syrus charter from Englishtown. Captain Fred Nirschl and Mate Steve Dallaportas stated they started off trolling bunker spoons, caught a hand full of blues, and one bass, about 30 lbs. Fishing slowed down so the charter moved to the North, found a big school of blue fish and jigged 4-10 lb blues.

The Eliseo Charter consisting Tom Redmond and Robert Eliseo. Had Sweetie off the coast of Monmouth Beach Jigging for Bass and Blues. The water depth was 52 feet with a water temperature of 58 degrees. Captain Matt Muzslay and mate Steve Dallaportas indicated that the charter had a good day of catching Blues on Jigs. Wish we could say the same about the Bass.

The water depth was 28 feet with a water temperature of 28 degrees. Laura Tomalavage was the big winner today. The boat was out for a fun trip. Catching 3 keepers and releasing another 10 shorts the largest being 30". She had a good time.

The Acosita Charter consisting of James Liquori, Nicholas Billings, Dean Billings, George Giannaros, Mauro Casci and Luis Acosita had Sweetie off the coast of Sandy Hook Jigging for Bass and Blues with clams as bait. The water depth was 28 feet with a water temperature of 58 degrees. Captain Fred Nirschl with Mate Steve Dallaportas indicate the charter had a very slow day of Bass fishing, only keeping 2 fish that just made the limit, lots and lots of small Blue fish. They had to move 3 times to get away from the dogfish. The weather was great and every one had a great time despite the lack of fish.

Captain Brain Perry and Mate Steve Dallaportas indicated that the charter had a slow day in the Bass fishing game, score 0/0 lots of blue fish all you wanted. But the bass were no where to be found.

The Behnke Charter consisting of Joey Ruggini, Don Rick, VH Hannisian, Mario Mendoza, Mike Frochlich & Craig Behnke. Had Sweetie off the coast of Belmar Jigging for Bass and Blues with Jigs. Fishing in water depth of 55 feet. The water temperature was 57 degrees. Captain Brian Perry and Mate Steve Dallaportas indicated that the charter had an abundent day of fishing for Blues and Bass. Keeping 12 small Bluefish for dinner and 6 Bass between 18-23 Lbs, releasing at least another 75 Bluefish. The birds where working the coast of Belmar and so were we.

The Acosta Charter consisting of Mauro Casci, Nicholas Casci, Louie Acosta, Caeser Gongora, George Giannaros and Roberto Vasilescu. Had Sweetie off the coast of Monmouth Beach. Jigging for Bass and Blues with Bucktail and Diamond Jigs. Fishing in water depth of 20-55 feet at 55 degrees. Captain Brian Perry and Mate Steve Dallaportas limited out today on Bass early. Fishing action was strong from the time of arrival to the fishing spot. Good bass and lots of blue fish as well. The largest Bass today was 32 lbs caught by Mauro Casci.

The Hochman Charter consisting of Mike Thomas, Mike Kundla, Tom Collard and Dave Hochman. Had Sweetie off the coast of Seabright Trolling and Jigging for Bass with spoons. Fishing in water depth of 25-55 feet at 55 degrees. Captain Brian Perry and Mate Steve Dallaportas stated the charter had an excellent day, limiting out on Bass and releasing another 10 fish. All fish were in the 10 to 30 lbs class. The largest being 34 lbs.
