9-19-10- Dive Trip 9/19/10:
Went diving today with the Mike Ryan group, expecting a big swell but it was actually very nice. Ran offshore to a wreck of a clamboat in 120' of water. Visibility was outstanding from the top of the wheelhouse at the tie in point you could see the boat anchored 80' above. the bottom was more like 10-15 near the sand but it was a very nice dive. Several togs, seabass and a lot of mussels came up.

9-18-10- Fishing report 9-18-10:
Fishing today with Jack Singh and friends, was very good. Had bluefish on immediatley after putting in the first bait and it never stopped. Along with dozens of blues that we were releasing we also got three nice stripers from 30-36". After the tide change we tried bottom fishing and had outstanding action from big porgies and seabass. It was nonstop catching all day.

09-12-2010- Dive Report 9/12/10:
Weather did not look great for todays trip, about 15kts SE wind and some rain. Dove the mohawk first and had decent conditions on the top of the wreck 15-20' vis. There were some fish there a few triggers came up anlong withseabass. Ran inshore to a barge and found vis to be only 5-6'. Raining pretty hard now, but shot a couple of big togs before running home.

09-06-2010- Dive Report 9/6/10:
Diving today , nice conditions unsure of vis so we started out close to home, on a wooden schooner and had 6-8' vis and lots of seabass life. Tried a tugboat with some more relief and found some nice togs including a 10.5lbr that was brought up. A fourth wreck had 0 vis and finally the fith wreck in 80' water was beautiful 30' of vis and fish life evrywhere. plenty of seabass tog and some small amberjacks.

09-01-2010- Fishing report 9/1:
Went bluefishing today with the Paul Young charter from TD Bank. Blues were snapping today and Paul and Anthony Sassohad a great time catching one after another from 6-12lbs. After they were tired out from that we stopped on a wreck on the way home and pulled 20 nice seabass up for the dinner plate. Weather was beatiful, seas calm.

08-28-2010- Fishing Report 8/28:
Half day trip today with my kids and some friends. Beautiful werather conditions but bottom fishing was tough, with a strong current and surged up bottom. We picked a few seabass ant each stop and the kids all caught a few and had some fun though.

08-22-2010- Dive Report 8/22:
We wanted to squeeze this trip in before the front came in and we just made it, Ran to a nice wooden schooner in 80' of water and the vis was decent 15-20' and plenty of sh life , mainly seabass. A couple of nice bugs came up too. Ran inshore and made a stop on the seagirt reef where the surface vis looked to be 40' and clean but the vis on the bottom was not that good and there was little life here. Was surprised by that. Made it in just as the thunderstorms came on at 1300.

08-21-2010- Fishing Report 8/21:
Went Fluking with the Jeff Corn party today. The bites were steady throughout the day, but most of the fluke were shorts, we did manage to box 6 keepers to 6lbs and 2 dozen keeper seabass along the way and released over 50 short fluke and dozens of short seabass

08-15-2010- Dive Report 8/15:
Big swell from the east today and we suspected the visibility might not be too good,so we tried a wreck out off the beach about 8 miles and found some visibility but pretty dark. There was a lot of algae blocking the sunlight. A few bugs came up along with a couple of Tog and and nice 24" cod. Second spot we tried inshore on a 100' tugboat but vis was een worse here. There were some big togs on tis wreck if you could find them, Chris Slog got a 10.5 lbr

8-1-10- 8/1/10 Dive report:
We ran offshore a bit today taking advantage of the calm seas and hit wreck in 120' that was loaded with scallops. Visibilty was pretty good 25 -30 feet bottom temps around 48 degrees. A few big cod were hanging around too. Moved inshore after that and did a couple of rockpiles that yielded some nice lobsters and a fluke. Once again the vis was 25' and bottom temp was warmer anout 52.Very productive trip.

07-31-10- 7/31/10 Fishing Report:
Half day of bottom fishing with Jack Singh and friends it was a bit picky but we finished up with a nice catch of 47 seabass and a couple of porgies by 1130.

07-26-2010- Fishing Report 7-26-27:
Fished in the canyons monday into tuesday, the weather was a bit rougher than reported and the Ed bosiowski party had to tough it out a bit. The fish were there though three yellowfin tuna were trolled up in the afternoon before anchoring up at dark. The chunk bite was OK with 6 more yellowfin in the 50-60 lb class being boated on bait. Up on the troll again in the morning and the winds layed down finally and 2 more yellowfin were boated for a nice catch of 11 tuna.

07-25-10- Dive report 7/25:
Open boat Dive trip on Sunday was very successful if you like lobster. We bounced around to a few local snags and rockpiles and found lobster everywhere we went. Visibility was good 20-25' depending on bottom, and temp was on the cold side 46-48 on most spots. Though it seemed to be warming by end of day. Everyone had a limit catch of lobster by end of 2 dives each up to 4lbs.

07-24-10- Fishing Report 7-24:
Went out for half day fluke with Jack singh and friends,on sat. Fishing was kind of tough since we had barely any drift. We switched over to seabass later to get some more action and we did pick away but the bites were not what I expected considering I read fish 5-10' thick. Found out later that the water temp on the bottom had dropped down to 47 which can give the sebass lockjaw but we did manage 27 keepers by noon.

07-19-2010- Dive Report:
Open boat dive trip monday, we had decent conditions and wound up with some nice fish and lobster. First stop on a wooden barge in 70 ft water had 10ft vis and 55F bottom temp. Nice looking wreck but not too much fish or lobster life on it. Ran out a little deeper to some smaller unnamed snags we found better vis (25 ft) and a lot more life. Everyone diving had at least 3 keeper bugs. A lot of seabass , a couple nice tog to 8lbs and a nice cod rounded out the catch. Vicky Vydra had a 4lb lobster and 3 others, Greg Paulovic had 9 seabass.

07-18-2010- Dive Report:
Open Dive trip on Sunday, tried a big wooden schooner barge in 75 feet first. Vis was OK 15 ft or so. Bottom temp 55 degrees. Not too much fish life here it seems like a lot of the local spots have been fished hard. Tina Held did recover a 100 yr old steel spike. Ran out a little further and tried a couple of rockpiles and smaller wrecks and spearfishing did improve lots of seabass and a nice fluke. hard to find lobster today. Shot a monster Tog that was 29inches long and nearly 15lbs!.

07-17-10- Fishing report 7-17:
Seabass fishing was excellent today on the local snags and rockpiles. Double headers of keepers were common and we had over 60 fish for a group of 4 in the boat by 10am. Called it quits at 11 since it was getting really hot everyone had enough fish.

06-17-2010- Fishing report 6-17:
Very exciting Striper fishing with the Barry Dayton party today, after collecting bait the striper action was on right away. The fish were boiling up out of the water , crushing the bunker baits. All big fish, the 3 man guys hooked up over 30 catching 15 stripers from 20-39lbs.
