5/12/2009- Manny Canales reports: 
Fished with the Chris Dowicz charter targeting striped bass. Took a while to get them going today but the guys started out catching mostly 10-12 lb bluefish. The crew made a few changes and soon the guys were catching a steady pick of big stripers too all on bunker baits. They finished the day with 7 stripers from 15 to 35lbs and over 30 bluefish in the 10lb class..

5/13/2009- Manny Canales reports: 
Very exciting Striper fishing with the Barry Dayton party today, after collecting bait the striper action was on right away. The fish were boiling up out of the water , crushing the bunker baits. All big fish, the 3 man guys hooked up over 30 catching 15 stripers from 20-39lbs
